Released in 2016 by Grange Fencing Ltd the Ultimate Fence Panel is the first of it's kind and an exciting new development in the domestic fencing market.

For decades the domestic fencing market has been dominated by the Larch Lap Panel often regarded as cheap and cheerful fencing with a limited life. Various standards of this fencing are available, pressure treated, dipped, mass produced with low wood volume or more bespoke versions that have high wood content but are often too heavy to lift.

Grange have re-visited the design and construction of these tried and tested Larch Lap Panels focused on the weaknesses and come to the market with a new product that has the visual resemblance, functionality and appeal of the old panel but has had some of the weaknesses and 'issues' designed out. The new Ultimate Panel is very much an engineered solution but something that retains the warmth and subtleness of wood.

The whole panel is constructed from re-engineered fine sawn timber which results in a smooth and premium finish, no loose slithers of bark here or uneven rough surfaces. The boards are all crisp straight edged slats which whilst less rustic in appearance than those on the Larch Panel still retain the natural appeal of wood generally. The integral capping, and surrounding frame are jointed using machine formed mortice and tennon joints, which offer enhanced strength as well as a more professional finish generally to the panel. The frame on the sides and bottom is also rebated around 40mm allowing the engineered slats to sit within, this results in a stronger more robust fence, fewer gaps and should ensure a longer fence life generally.

As with existing Lap Panels on the market the new Ultimate Fence Panel is available in both pressure treated timber (green) as well as 'dipped' (golden brown). At launch the panels are available in two heights 1.80 metres and 1.50 metres.
