Sorry to hear that, what a load of ****
Hope you get them back.
I think they would of had trailer away in full, if they had chance, cost to replace ridiculous
I doubt they'll come up for sale......... I bet the pikies will have had them for scrap metal.
Thats a pain.
I know this is bolting the stable door, but we all run the risk of this and we all know whos done it! However, i was reading the other day in the paper that farmers can get a marker pen which they use on animals then track them with an app on their phones. There must be a fairly inexpensive method now available on the market. Lets face it if it cost a few hundred for the technology and everyone used it this sort of theft would stop or at least make it very difficult to shift the gear on!
i know you can data tag machinery equipment but that only shows once scanned, more so if you trying to export stolen goods, thats what some of farmers doing, with quads, tractors etc,
I dont think it s more local scrap men or fellow landscaper, as neighbour noticed another landscaper pull up and looking round trailer.
it was while on a job, was a nightmare then getting tractor loaded
