Depends what you class as small. An Etesia hydro 80 is only 82cm wide but if you're looking for the biggest you can get in your van. Well measure the space between the wheel arches and look at ones just smaller than that.
How about a stiga park? They are very maneuverable and mulch well, can also discharge if needs be. Also if you get one of the larger ones you can still put a 4ft deck on it.
Thanks for the replies
A few people have now mentioned the Etesia Bahia, also forgot to mention price as I'm looking to spend £1500 ish, so I'll keep a look out for one
Hi Lee
I have a 44" wide Countax and have just bought a Bahia as well for the same reason you are considering one. The Bahia fits in my swb Tranist and also my lwb Sprinter still leaving room for pedestrian mowers waste and everything else.I paid £1620 for mine off internet (not ebay but was looking there too) 2007 excellent condition. Hopefully it will prove a bargain build quality is excellent, looks a very robust bit of kit will mulch collect or discharge 12 litre fuel tank too
Hope that helps
You could try an Etesia AK/AV model - they're brilliant for grass as well as tall brambles/bracken and they work well in the wet - and they're really small! Perfect for getting between trees and manouvering in small spaces, but they don't collect. Otherwise Etesia Hydro 80 is a great model if you want to collect.
Hope you find what you want at a good price :)
Got another post on a different forum and all the answers seem to be Etesia Hydro 80
So next question .. anyone know where there's a good machine for sale :)
Hi
yes I've had a look at that one, thought it may be a little pricey, but looks in good condition
may have a drive up and view
