  • Used them a few times a few years ago, had to go back and re-joint every job with proper mortar.

    I think they are costly gimmicks that dont really save any time at all. Plus If a small patch of jointing needs replacing you have to buy a whole box just for a handful, then chuck the rest because as soon as the air gets to it the setting process begins.

    Hi there, as it happens, this morning iv chased out some past pointing work, completed using cementones jointing compound and it’s the last paved area left where iv used these products. With all, iv re-pointed with mortar, there’s no easy fix for pointing, sadly.
