ServiceM8 software?

I'm a Jobber user however the renewal for just me as a sole trader is £48/mth, whereas ServiceM8 (based on 15jobs p/wk) comes in at £18/mth. That's quite a difference. I was wondering if anyone's had any practical experience of ServiceM8 and if so, I'd love to hear your findings and thoughts?

    I'm interested too for starting up with one of these software tools. Jobber does seem expensive one you add the various bolt ons to it.

    £48/month for Jobber?  Are you sure that is correct?

      £48 seems high to me - we pay less than that and have multiple users as well as a couple of add ons

        That's if I pay monthly. If I pay one off for the year, it works out about £35'ish (depending on exchange rates as it's priced in USD) a month.

          We pay monthly - didn't know that you could pay annually.

          Jobber used to do a discount for LJN - probably worth an ask

    A plumbing mate of mine says Service M8 is so good for his business, 3-4 van so the road, keeps an eye on location, jobs invoicing, notes. He rates it. But he's not a garden maintenance person.

      Cheers :). The hugest selling point for me with ServiceM8 is the ability to work offline, without internet access or signal, and it syncs when we're back in range, which Jobber doesn't do yet (they assure me they're working on it though). However I don't like the way the terminology gets confusing, the web interface doesn't render well on an iPad, the mobile app is very simplistic, there's no easy way to find the next books appointment for any given customer, and the service desk doesn't seem too good (mostly web based); the Servicedesk being another st no point fo the Jobber s/w.
