  I think you should keep an eye on those plants! Are you sure he wasn't spraying iron or fertiliser?

    That's what I thought. I asked and he did say a herbicide. I know of grazon but that can still harm plants. Puzzling

    Haha. That's a good shout. The additive was a dark brown colour of that helps

        Could be spraying iron? Not unknown for some franchises to be doing an moss control at this time of year. At least in this neck of the woods.

  The dirty colour could be longbow.
  
  I'd question his knowledge, and legality in using it straight away though.
