Selective herbicide

Hello guys.Anyone know what selective herbicide lawn care company's use for weed control? Saw one of the chaps spraying it the other day and it was going on the boarders and he said it won't harm any of the plants. Sounds great stuff. Thanks

  • I think you should keep an eye on those plants! Are you sure he wasn't spraying iron or fertiliser?
    • That's what I thought. I asked and he did say a herbicide. I know of grazon but that can still harm plants. Puzzling

Me thinks he didn't know what he was talking about - not uncommon with some lawn care operators

    was it water ?

    • Haha. That's a good shout. The additive was a dark brown colour of that helps
      • Lawn fertiliser. He's using the wrong word.

        • Could be spraying iron? Not unknown for some franchises to be doing an moss control at this time of year. At least in this neck of the woods.

    Might be Seaweed ?

    • Does seaweed control weeds?
  • The dirty colour could be longbow.

I'd question his knowledge, and legality in using it straight away though.
