Hi Rob what sort of jobs will you be using it for ie large open areas, regular cutting . i have an older john deere which is mulch and side discharge which is great which replaced a x155 which didnt like longer or wet grass as the chute got clogged, wet and dry leaves also blocked chute. it also had a starter problem which the dealer couldnt resolve, so it got sold. i also have a second hand kubuta which is better still

  • Thanks for the replies gents. I currently have one large domestic job, which is about an acre over 3 different levels but with good access, I'm just about to take on a second large domestic of a similar size but all on one level. I also have a commercial job, that my original contract was to cut a one metre strip around a one acre field, but then last autumn they decided they would like cutting flat. This area hadn't been cut for 10yrs, I got a contractor to cut it, but they now want it doing once a month to keep it tidy, so that at once a month & the domestics done weekly or at least fortnightly. Plus I'm shortly moving house & my new one will have a third of an acre to cut.
