If you are still unsure take a rule and measure several lengths on the A2 and A3 versions and if the relative scale of the lengths is the same, this confirms the original scale of 1:200 has not been altered.

Thanks for your advice Ray. I only have the A2 version unfortunately. I've measured the cars drawn on the plan and they're coming in at 6-7metres long which sounds a tad long so I think the scale must have changed.
Never scale from a copied plan, especially if contruction is required.
If done by a commercial photcopier then most will have options such as 'Original size/ratio or 'scale to fit' option when copying (similar exists on a laser printer) which if not checked can alter ratio by a smll amount.
Either get a prime copy at required scale or if it's mainly for soft llandscaping, reverify scale.
