I must be doing it wrong............... I spend less time on the gardens in the Autumn/Winter...... particularly when it's cold like today!. I don't actually do "Autumn tidys" and find it much more satisfactory to keep everything "tidy" all year round.......... If you're only spending 30 minutes on a garden in the Summer, I'd imagine you're not doing much more than sorting out the lawns? I'm sure you could easily balance things out a bit more so you do more in the Summer and put you're feet up a bit in the winter:)
hi graham no this is mainly aimed at gardening only not inc lawns, but i cant very well do collecting of leaves in summer hence the autumn tidy as done through autumn months when leaves fall. but glad to say feet up mid dec - now :) just planning ahead
