  • Hi Susan

I am a planting designer but i also do work for a plant sourcing company called Genus Plant Sourcing. They deliver all over the uk and are competitive in price and have an excellent service. I started as a client of theirs. Have a look at their website www.genusplantsourcing.co.uk. The quality of stock is very good. They will source any plants, bulbs aquatic etc and get a whole list together and deliver in one drop. No more spending time running around trying to find plants and you can put a mark up on as it is wholesale only and still be competative with very little work.

It is now bareroot and rootball season and you can get a lot more shrub for the money. For 4ft hedge the best size would be 1.25-1.50M rootballed. These would have to be planted 2.5 per metre. They are very bushy. They would be £11.95 ex vat ex delivery. I would need to find out where you are to quote delivery. If you wanted to go cheaper you would be looking at bareroot stock which is much thinner but they would be 90-120cm tall. These would be cheaper but would not give such impact. Email me or call if you want to discuss further @ curstain@landscaping4u.co.uk or 07920147374

    Hope that helps
