Patio Laying Lead

Hi all.

I have a client in the Bristol area who wants a small patio laid (approx. 16m2)

They have the slabs which are a soft surfaced stone around 10mm thick.

I can lay patios but as yet do not have the proper tools that will make it a viable job time wise.

If anyone is interested please feel free to contact me.

David.

Ps. They are on time payers.

Where is it in Bristol? I cover sort of Longwell /Green Hanham /Oldland area but don't tend to go much further.

    • Hi Seth.

The client is in Longwell Green & I am in Hanham.

It is within 1/4 mile from Sally on the Barn.

      David.

Okay David I'd be happy to quote for it, as long as the ghost doesn't get me! haha.

        • Ok Seth.

I'll be seeing them this coming Monday so I can ask if it is ok for me to forward their contact details to you?

I have already told them I will help them look for a contractor to do this.

Okay thats fine. Probably best to email me at contact@burgessgardening.co.uk but if they don't like emails my mobile would be the best 07870451382.

Although I should say what lead time is required? It'll be about 5 weeks for me to get to them so if that is too long then I'll have to turn this down.

            • I'm pretty sure they would go for the 5 week period, I can get the lawn sorted in the meantime and leave the patio as the final priority as it is at the top of the garden

I'll be sure to keep you posted either way and will make it plain to them it will be a 5 week wait.

              Cheers for now.

  • More than happy to loan you the tools David?

    • Hi Graeme.

That is very kind of you, thank you. I have already told them I will out source this particular phase of their garden construction.

The fences & shed have been painted to their tastes, now I need to level the nasty "lawn area" ready to lay topsoil & put it to seed.

Ok to message you for a catch up?

      • Anytime.  I may even be in your neck of the woods in a few weeks

        • Great.

Will send off a longer PM tomorrow (be really good to catch up).

Be good to hook up for a coffee if you make it further across to the Wess Countree too.
