Try Paul @ County Hire Tool. They hire them out and we've used them for various items - only problem maybe location Tadley (nr Reading, Berks)? They also deliver and finally they are LJN members.
If still stuck, I know of another possibility or two but location would still be 'west' of London.
Good luck...
Hi Gary,
I didn't see Colin's enquiry for power broom until today; need to keep my eyes open a bit wider!
also only just noticed that you replied to hime suggesting he contacts our hire company, County Hire. Much appreciated.
all the best for 2017
Paul
Try Ben Burgess in Coates (PE7) - they have a load of groundscare stuff - hired a chipper from them years ago: HERE
Another alternative to the proper sweepers might be the powered brush attachment for the Stihl Combi...? Bit more work sweeping up but very effective?
The trolley kombi might be a better idea
for large areas - yes its hard work, but I find its really effective on mossy, gungy tennis courts and I have even used it for snow clearance off paths...used once or twice a year perhaps but excellent
Dunno how true it is but my Stihl dealer told me the Kombi trolley kit was going to be discontinued. Pity ' cos it looked a good bit of kit.
It's only recently been re-continued after being discontinued last time!
Hi Colin,
Apologies for the delay in replying. The TurfTeq power broom http://www.groundscare-products.co.uk/pb.htm is available to rent from Brandon Hire in Chelmsford. Their phone number is 01245 358444.
I doubt they will be open until Tues 3rd Jan, in which case you are welcome to call me in the meanwhile if you have any questions about the machine.
