I have used the GftK 850 a few times and its very good product, very easy to use and does exactly what it says on the tub
I'll second that
Ah brilliant, thanks guys. I don't think we've found anybody yet who hasn't got on well with the GftK, like you say it does what it says on the tub!
id be intrested to try a sample as I am sceptical about them, but open to being converted
I tried it on my own paving (4 years ago) and there are a couple of sections where it has come loose (the paving is stable) and it doesn't like being powerwashed (you can hear the material being stripped off in layers and "raining down" on nearby foliage.
I used gftk vdw 800 I believe.
there is nothing to be sceptical about with GFTK german quality, does exactly what is says, i have used GFTK850 in a town centre paving 5 years ago, still stands up to street cleaners,
mark, im sure you're right, but ive seen other ones not turn out so well or fail, and when you're putting your name to the work, I need convincing!
you cant compare it to ge0fix of similar rubbish like that
What sort of coverage does it offer per tub on average? That could be a useful piece of info that you list on the website.
Used the 840 before on several occasions and it's been great. One word of warning where the pointing is now pretty much a slurry you have to have all the paving very wet before commencing. We recently did a large area which had a couple of dry spots and were left with some staining, which we just have to wait for the UV rays to break down (not many of those at the moment!).
Wouldn't put me off using it again but I'd be very aware that even if the mix itself is soaked the surface needs to be wet everywhere as well.
