  • Going from what I've heard. If stay away from the New transit. It's the heaviest (unladen weight) on the market the now. Canters are solid. Just availability of parts of anything goes wrong. Would look into your nearest dealer.
    The New Renault master looks good. Plus the lightest truck if your buying with factory fitted body. Which has always been important for a tipper.

    I would second Peters view on parts, when I worked for a larger company we ran 4 Cantors - the only place you can get parts is from Mitsubishi even down to things like mirrors. I don't think that the actual cost of the parts was the major issue it was really that our local dealer wasn't that local that caused the issue.

    The other thing is that the ride is completely different to the transit as you are sitting directly over the top of the engine, when I drove them I thought that the ride was very bouncy.
