    Hi Andy,

Thought I would be helpful...and suggest you look at Algoclear and Algoclear Pro. Both are quarternary ammonium, safe for all hard surfaces without staining. The Pro is a super concentrated version and 5lt dilutes at 1:40 for winter use.

The key to killing the moss is to match the amount sprayed to the amount of biofilm or 'green' - so the more moss = the more spray per sq.m - especially if the driveway is rough/ pitted as opposed to smooth slabs...give me a ring and I can guide you as to coverage.

  • Sounds like a drainage problem or shade. Moss only grows between April & September so mainly drainage. Investigate Mogeton if still available or Dieard.

Hi - Mogeton is still available but unfortunately its areas of use changed a couple of years ago.  Now it is only approved for Managed Amenity Turf - and restricted to golf courses only.

Sorry I'm not familiar with Dieard - but it doesn't seem to be registered on the CRD website so think it may well have gone too.

    Hope this helps.
