I may be able to help you. By silhouetted photo, I assume you mean an object (tree or flower or such?) within a white or transparent background, that is, not within box? Might an illustration work as well or better?

I have emailed the poster so you can see for yourself.
I want to replace the current photo at the top, to one which is far more gardening centred.
The reason for silhouetted photo is so that someone is seen gardening, but without picking up on traits that would encourage one section of the community. IE the reader can replace the gardener with themself in their mind. I know a lot of gardeners like to take photos for their portfolio or website. The type of photo I had in mind is where the photographer has put the main light (sunlight) source behind the subject.
A black and white image would do just as well, though prefer the quality of a photo for colour range and texture, but haven't had the time to create one. The main issue would be the size as it will need to replace the same area as the one currently on the poster.
Either way, if you are able to help I would very grateful.
George.

Sadly when I was encouraged to design a poster they neglected to mention they have their own department, which ensures consistancy with their corporate image.
Though it has certainly given me a lot to think about when designing posters for my own organisation.
Thanks.
