Hi folks, I'm soon to update our Facebook page and realised there wasn't a link to it on my profile on LJN.  I've copied and pasted the address that appears when I visit our Facebook page but it doesn't seem to work as a link when viewing my LJN profile.

This is what I've put in

What am I doing wrong?

    • Tom I use Facebook very successfully despite my doubts at first. The wife advised me to give it a go so I did reluctantly. Surprised to say I probably get 90% of my work from it. Free advertising in local sell groups is a must to spread the word mind.

        • Yes there is an element of that but you get quite good at weeding the bad from the good leads. Facebook has a diverse range of users of all age groups and in my experience on the whole they are happy with what I charge. I've had no success with Twitter along the same lines and my own website does give an online presence and generates a few clients.

The timing of your Facebook adverts is crucial in attempting to reach your market eg. Evening ads are more likely to reach working folk!
