Hi Seána
Sorry not to respond to your email sooner. I've been away from my computer.
You need to upgrade your subscriptionork.com/page/go-premium to Pro to access the BOG.
Sorry for any inconvenience and/or confusion.
Shout if you have any questions.

I thought as even a lowly free member I could access and comment in the forums... (so the wee image shows)
I can access some content and comment too (though I notice my comment is tacked on at the end rather than appearing at the top)
But on most posts in says that the page isn't available to me. (Sad face!)
Thanx for your help though.

Hi Seána
As Harry says, the only restriction is for the Business Objectives Group (BOG). All other content should be viewable.
Perhaps you could post the URL to pages you cannot access?
Post on the BOG section...
My mistake.
Thank you all for your help.
Xx
I can appreciate the desire to get subscriptions but the BOG forum seems crazy. Why restrict the answers to a select group of people ? I often see topics where I could provide valuable advice but I can't post & help people.
Everyone has the option of where and how they want to participate on LJN.
The BOG was designed to provide a place where business & delicate issues can be discussed, documents shared and advice / mentoring sought out of sight of the open forum.
What's the cost ? Access to the BOG is less than 11p a day. Yearly, It's less than a mower blade or a couple cans of unleaded. You can't even buy a newspaper or coffee very week for that amount. How much does a business start-up book cost ?
My personal take is that many spend hundred's, if not thousands of ££ on tools, clothes etc yet nothing on their business. The cost of belonging to the BOG could save you that amount, or the advice given could save your business. It's all down to how you value business....
Ultimately, it's a way of supporting LJN and ensuring the main forum carries on free at point of access.
There are key points around the BOG for me:
1. It is private; ie not public - people share valuable confidential information eg pricing, marketing results.
2. There is a historic archive of threads and documents that are valuable.
3. There is a fee that is an entry barrier - it will stop time wasters getting in there and abusing it / ruining it. The fact that this forms a subscription and supports LJN is important as well.
You pays your money and makes your choice. I and many think it's a bargain (this year I made a >100x return on my fee through advice received last winter). Please Phil, don't consider changing it's pricing or access structures; it ain't broke!
Yes it's good that it's behind a paywall, as it doesn't get abused by trolls etc. I was very sceptical about the BOG at first, but I have received lots of knowledge that I wouldn't have got elsewhere.
I just have it direct debited at £3.90 a month. I spend more than that at the shop when the kids want sweets after school on Fridays.
