Why do you want leaf mould? - although fantastic if you make it yourself, it has very little nutrient value, and isn't usually available to buy.
I would use organic matter to either bulk up the soil / condition it, or fertilise it.
Where are you in Surrey, and i'll suggest what to get where
Hi claire thanks fo the response. Agreed the nutritional value of leaf mould is minimal, however the client is looking for a natural mulch for the beds to aid weed supression. My plan was to feed with spent mushroom, then dress with the mould.
I have never seen it for sale myself so thought it was a long shot, im kind of resigned to dressing with bark now unless you have any other suggestions?. Im in weybridge.
Thanks again
Go to John Gunner's or Brackhurst's in Normandy nr Guildford, they normally have some good organic compost that can be used as a natural mulch. Can be bought by the bag, loose load or tipped.
PM me if you want further info.
I do have oak leaf mould if required- £3-99 per bag- approx 35kgs per bag- WD3 5LU
What about your local green waste yard? Ours supplies compost for around £15.00 per cu mtr collected.

I would mulch with normal municipal compost, some clients have asked for mulching, and I have either used 18month old bark from a local sawmill, or Partially rotted haylege from a local farm - They Haylege was lovely stuff, dark green-brown and stuck around for over a year, totally suppresed the weeds.
