would a high lift powered barrow be any good 1.5 m dos not seem very high (5ft) how did the builders get the materials there to build the new houses? failing that it will be back to the good old days pick, shovel, and wheel barrow

Hire a 0.5T walk-behind tracked dumper, much more powerful and bigger capacity than the muck truck and will do the job, we always uses these on restricted access projects, something like this:
