The new jobber app is great for certain things.
I think they way they have done it is if more in line for companies that have lots of techs / workers.
If your out in the field and you have all your jobs already booked in it's brilliant.
I use the Calendar - map function to sort out routes for each day.
Then when i turn on the app in the morning my route is pre-planned for me.
When i arrive at the job i start the timer, finish the job / mark complete / invoice.
Past that, I find everything else tricky too & prefer to do quotes and other stuff on the pc later that day.
I really wish they would add an the expenses option to it, i know I can go on the website and do it... Though that isnt the point
You might find it easier to go on the website on a pc or Mac to get used to all the various functions, options etc first. I have a tablet that I take out in the van but it won't run the app (android version too old!). So I just have it logged onto the website on the calendar view and it's fine for the day,I can complete jobs and invoice if i want to. I tend to do more scheduling and itty bitty stuff on my mac or pc when I get home or go down the office.
I'm a little disappointed, I had informed jobber of this thread and hoped they would have joined the conversation... They used to be very responsive to stuff like this.
Hi Robbie - thanks for sending us the heads up and sorry we were a bit late to this thread.
I wanted to send a quick note to let you know that Expenses are coming to the mobile app. You mentioned in your last comment that it is something you're looking for and I wanted you to know our team is currently working on it. Thanks again!

I have to admit that when I ask for help from Jobber they are very helpful. About 2 weeks ago I had a one to one on the phone to them and I sorted out some problems. Trouble is, next day I was feeling more confident and I emailed an invoice to a customer I would be visiting later in the day.
When I got there they had received the invoice but it wasn't recognisable from what I had seen on the screen before it was emailed. I apologised and said I'm still trying to get to grips with the software.
I haven't contacted Jobber again since, partly because I was holiday last week, but also because I do feel like its feels like I'm trying to wade through treacle with this. I really thought it was going to so much easier and intuitive to use.
Disillusioned!
Hi, Edward - a little late to the conversation but wanted to jump in here.
Sorry things have been a bit frustrating with Jobber. I know you're busy, so what I'd recommend when you're short on time is to use the chat box right in Jobber. Your chat will go straight to a member of our Success Team and the response time is less than 3 minutes during business hours.
Also, training and support is free and unlimited - we're always happy to help! If you'd like to hop on the phone for another 1 on 1 phone call or chat over email, feel free to contact our team: 1.888.721.1115 or support@getjobber.com.

Yes thanks for that , I will be contacting you soon for your great advice. I really want jobber to work, I will keep going with it.
I find the online chat helpful. Especially if I'm down the office late and need advice. Because they are several hours behind us, there is always someone there on an evening.
