Job share

Hi,

We are in the North Herts area of the country. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a job share of an employee. We would each have this employee half of the time. Obviously sometimes I would need them more often than half the time and vice versa. I feel this could really work, and would save both of us the massive financial outlay of employing them full time.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Richard.

    What a great idea Richard.

I hope you can find a partner for this.

What would the employment contract look like? And the PAYE arrangements? How is the tax code shared? On the face of it, sounds fine, but as I sit here and think about the contractual side, it looks a bit scary to me from both employer and employee perspective.

Is it all separate? Fine if all works and is amicable, but what if the employee ends up piggy in middle over who get them that day etc.

Don't want to rain on your fire, but, some issues here I think.
