Husqvana fire advice needed.

All. My husqvana strimmer model 128R caught fire this morning. Minor panic as I was stood in a field of long grass at the time. Fortunately no crisis as I got the fire out fast. However I'm concerned about this. Usually I would blame over fuelling and spilt fuel but as the machine hadn't been filled I am very concerned. When I started it I got a bolt of electricity from the spark plug but put it down to an freak event. However within minutes of use fortunately not in a harness the damn thing was burning. If been happily strimming away for 30 minutes or so prior to this.Has anyone had this before? Any ideas before I start shouting at my supplier. I couldn't smell fuel, the mix was right and it hadn't been filled yet.I had to have the starting system fixed last year as the pull cord seized. All ideas welcome.

It sounds like it's an electrical issue not fuel related to me as petrol if it's leaking won't just burn slowly (normally) it will explode:-)
Coil maybe not working right. Was it smoking or really on fire ie with flames ?

It's no good shouting at the supplier! They did not make it catch fire!
Have you taken it to bits to see where it started?
It could be as simple as it sparked again (for what reason?) and then oily crap deposits on the fins etc under the plastic covers caught fire. I took the cover off one of mine last week as the kill switch stopped working and I could not believe the amount of oily dirt under it !

Shot in the dark but does it have a spark arrester, may be faulty if it has one ???
