    Hello Peter
I have used the Camo fixings - they can be used in hardwood in their stainless steel form and softwood in the coated version. The screws are guided in with a special tool, and the driver bit ensures that you cannot drive the screws in too far. They have the advantage that you can at a later date remove individual boards without disturbing the others.

    John
    • hi thanks for the reply, do they hold the boards firm, have you had any trouble with the boards coming up, and how long does it take compare to fixing from the top

Hi Peter I've used them for fixing oak deck boards (stainless steel screws) and the have remaind firm for over 2 years so far. I have also used it for some Siverian Larch cladding on a shed and that has also been fine.
