Use a coat hanger to hold your tub while you work from steps.
Is this an April Fools joke in January?:) I guess you could even drill holes in the tubs so you can tie them to your boots!!
Not meant to be a joke but I see how it might look a bit mad. We were installing a couple of raised beds and the soil was... well, very sticky clay. It was starting to get all over the patio, so we just stepped into the tubs when we had to stand or walk on the mud and stepped out of them to walk on the patio.
spare offcuts of artificial turf work wonders as protection on the floor when youve got a job where you have to go through the house repeatedly
...fill them with hot water to keep your feet warm..? ;-)
Or to wash the mud off your boots ;-)
