Green/big hands

By this I mean the big plastic things we use to pick up leaves and other garden detritus.We have tried numerous makes but none last more than 2 years max.They all tend to crack or go brittle.
Was wondering if anyone has found a more robust pair.
Bit of a boring post but poor equipment irritates the hell out of me!

    never had any , but want some. mum had some at xmas - i thought they were for me ! :(

    Yeoman long handled leaf grabbers all the way! They are the best by far, mine have lasted for ages, and they have saved my back enormously. Trust me, once you have tried them you will wonder why on earth you ever used anything else!
