They are pretty nifty! Everyone seems to underestimate the 'go kart' look and are shocked by its cutting ability! :)
just to add into this for confirmation if any one is wanting it
the AK85 Is the newer machine fitted with a HST (Hydrostat unit) and kawasaki enigne so much cheeper maintance at more hours
the AV85 is the one fitted with the variator unit needing the special belt and a briggs enigne with high maintance at every 50 hours the variator belt must be tensioned
Noticed you are selling used Hayterettes - been thinking about a something similar for rough cuts/banks all domestic size stuff that I wouldn't like to take my 'nice' roller mower over, any views anyone ?
Don't bother, get a 100 instead.

There's a few Mk 1 Bahia's around at the moment, especially on eBay....

Yes I see a few bahia bit are they less superior to the 80 model which I believe is more commercial?
We have two Bahia 80'S that get regular commercial use. If you take care and understand the differences they work well. The Hydro 80'S Main changes are front axle, larger wheels and uprated gearbox + some aesthetic changes.
We carry a piece of 2*4 behind our feet and use to 'soften' kerbs (so less bumping) and regularly blow out the rear belt/gearbox area of the build up of cut grass. We ramp them in/out of Vivaro vans so no trailers needed.
There are some good domestic pre-owned machines around for ~£1k-£1.2k that I would consider good value (I know, because I've looked at some recently as we may get another machine), One went this weekend for just under £1050 which was in excellent condition.
