assuming it is a tall gate
I'd use a rim latch or lock, with knob handles
otherwise you would need to get something like two animal cage sliding bolts or standard padbolts, and weld a connecting piece
if its a short gate, you can use a Kenham automatic gate catch
or a gravity gate catch, but you would need a key to open it
Thanks, the gate is 1.8m tall with 100 x 19 slats.
Bolts, etc designed to secure, I'm sure you can get sliding flat metal bolts with a pin / stud handle both sides, for metal cages / compounds
or get a metal fabricator to make one
but anything non-standard, will start costing £££
I used have a tall wooden gate with a rim latch, but with a sliding catch / bolt on the inside to secure it, as & when
Great, thanks for the help.
