Etesia or Iseki ride on?

I know that Etesia mowers have been discussed quite a lot on here but I'd really like opinions for and against these 2 particular makes.  We are looking at a minimum of 40 inch and max of 48 inch so most likely the iseki sxg 216 vs etesia hydro 100 or their 48" equivalent.  At the moment we are not too bothered about the high dump versions but if we happen to find a decent enough used one with high dump, would also appreciate any opinions on this and how easy it is to load onto a flatbed without chucking it all over the floor at the same time!

I also know that to buy new, the price difference is quite a bit but most likely looking at used so I'm putting that factor aside for now.

Thanks

Iseki is a better collector mower just about but its not really a big difference between the two. Probably would say it comes down to dealer support, but a 216 is more of a semi pro machine a 323 is the full commercial unit. Really we need to know your budget as Etesias seem to hold their price well and (at least around here) there are more of them on the 2nd hand market.

    • Hi Seth, thanks for this, our budget is a little unsure and not really an issue to a degree as they are weighing up as similar prices second hand (although the etesias seem to be available used for half the new price and the isekis only a small decrease).  Anything would be an upgrade for us really as we have an old alko that we got very cheaply that just keeps breaking.  We just don't want to pay out a lot of money for a machine that isn't going to last and needs a lot of repair.  We particularly need to collect in the wet which is why we have narrowed it down to these 2.  Currently we are only using the ride on for 2 full days a week if that helps.
