Etesia Hydro 100 belt tensioner

Hi Everyone,

A little while ago I bought a used Hydro 100 evolution and recently noticed a problem with it. When you turn the deck on, the floating arm that the tensioning spring attaches to moves backwards and forwards. We took the deck off and found a damaged pulley and a worn out bearing, so replaced them and still the problem persists. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Also if anyone has a similar machine, is there any possibility of posting pics of the top of the deck whilst on the machine so that I can ensure I am not missing anything. I guess its the joys of buying a used machine.

Many thanks in advance, Nick.

    Hi Nick

Only had time to pop on every few days as things have been that busy

if your still having trouble give me a bell in the office tuesday or pop some pics up on here.

it could be that where the jocky arm is attached to the deck there is now to much play or the tenshion spring needs to be adjusted / replaced (adjust by moving to another hole on the tip of the arm)

there has to be a free movement to the arm as in will lift and lower smooth but not shake rattle and roll all over the place as this will burn belts in no time, and by the sound of it with a worn pulley and bearing i dont think things are going to be as tight as they should.

    regards
