  I wonder if I could get one of those for my Cobra mower? Now they are slow! We nicknamed ours "The slug" and even though it's newer than our other mowers it was relegated to back-up mower straight from the off.

  I was wondering about the hole the other day too. I was thinking maybe a wash port, but then I realised it's in the wrong place...

  Haha, "The slug" , love that .....:-) Graham I thought maybe an anchor point or something, pure speculation though, I have no real idea....;-)

  There is a simple answer to the hole in the front. On some early models the machine had a single height adjustment chassis like a pro 51 has and the hole provided the anchor point for the compensator Spring.

      Actually embarrassed that I knew the answer! Wasn't sure if it was best to tell all or keep everyone guessing. I think I have been fixing these things for too long!

  I think the French do walk that slow it might be all the whine they drink (Phil might enlighten us)

    Its all the whine they do rather than drink. They only walk fast when retreating.
