Hi Oliver, over the years I have done work via agents, however very often its with little notice and they can take a while to pay. I have forwarded generic emails to all local estate agents more recently and had little response if any.
Recently just out of curiosity I tried emailing about particular properties via the request details button with a much better reply ratio rather than a generic email which often get deleted without being opened as one estate agent manager informed me. An agent will see this form of contact as potential interest so will open and read, however the rest is down to you to convince them what you can do for the vendor in terms of sale or rental.
Images on sales particulars can often be inaccurate particularly if been on the market some while so I now, when out and about, make a note of properties on the market where the gardens need TLC and contact them in the same manner. In these cases the particulars may show fantastic images produced at the time it initially put on the market. But as we all know time takes an effect on any garden.
You may find my website interesting as this is how I started my business named Kerb Appeal Gardens. You can find me at www.kerbappealgardens.co.uk
You're welcome. Keep coming back and there are plenty of good reasons to upgrade to pro membership, its well worth it!
Ray do you have any connections with a company of the same name in the Wetherby area ?
No David, the guy there in Tadcaster specialises in hard landscaping & design I believe hence their company name Kerb Appeal Landscaping and not Kerb Appeal Gardens, I just concentrate on the soft side.
