A lot of my customers like the Bosch Rotak lithium battery mowers with rollers. The larger one should be ok for up to 350sqm, smaller one 200sqm.
Bigger than that have a look at Cobra and Gardencare mowers around the £300-400 mark.
Hi Andrew. Thank you for the reply and advice. I am a bit weary of battery powered tools to be honest. Do they have much power, what run time do they have and how long will a battery last. Is it ok to leave a battery dormant in a garage for 5 months of the yr? 350m2 is pretty impressive though!
Will loom at Cora and gardens are now. Thanks
They are lithium, so fine to fine to leave on charge in the garage. The charger will handle conditioning. They are fine for regular domestic use and will cut those size lawns on a single charge. Much less servicing costs than a petrol one, plus no winter decomissioning / emptying of petrol!
Manufacturers will be wary of lifetime quotes. But my makita stuff has lasted 5 years.
