I've been asked what happened to the thread Grass cutting quotes - what do you charge? (top topic in today's newsletter).

Marc Ollerenshaw (Glasgow) unfortunately decided to join LJN and abuse fellow members' goodwill. He's deleted his account.

If you're reading this Marc, I'm really disappointed. So many people went out of their way to try and help you.

Here's a screenshot of the topic.

  • Is there no way of changing settings so that only admin can delete threads? I know that this is the way another forum I belong to works, if someone throws their toys out of the pram and starts deleting individual posts, admin will reinstate them so that the thread always will make sense even if the member leaves or is banned.

So he deleted his account once he got the information he wanted? Seems a strange decision... Would have caused zero harm or issues just to leave it and would've helped other people out...

Marc has been in touch and apologised.

He's re-joined LJN so I'll let Marc speak for himself.

  • Hi everyone,

Can I ask you to please read my post here
    http://landscapejuicenetwork.com/forum/topics/apology-to-members

Which includes my explanation of what happened to my account and also an apology to all members who I may have upset.

    Regards
    Marc
