Rubbish reporting and the wrong photograph.

Why would a proof reader not point out that the photo doesn't fit the story?

It actually is not a bad idea organising a green waste bin for a member of your family or a friend who could really benefit from having one, particularly if they don't use the Internet or don't feel confident about booking services through a call centre and revealing their banking details, making it difficult to able to book one themselves.

Having said that one of my daughters told me having a green waste bin is not a hobby. But it's a start!

In fact if that story had a photo of a gardener putting garden waste into a bin it would create a completely different ideas in people's heads.

You don't even need a wheelbarrow, you can roll the bin around with you.
  • our garden waste bin is brown the recycling bin is green all provided by the council, our neighbouring council has started charging to empty the garden bins and I think there is a few others around the country doing the same

    • This Is our second year since our council introduced fees to charge for garden waste for home owners. It works for me as I explain that landfill is a problem and that why I charge x amount to take waste away etc. Hopefully, it might encourage some people to invest in a compost system to reduce waste movement....
