  • What cutting it with?

    How many cuts a year?

    What's the grass used for?
    • cutting with ferris is5000 and scag 52inch pedestrian mowers and various small push mowers for small areas

the grass is a mixture of POS's, cemeteries and verges.

number of cuts in the 8 month contract has yet to be confirmed but the total M2 is 5million for the whole season.

      • Very random working out sqm for the whole season

Number of cuts will denote a lot of things in the 8 month contract like if it's monthly it will be longer than it being done every two weeks? Also put a lot more wear on your machines?

If you have the total sq meters then the number of cuts must have been decided as there is obviously a certain area that is not going to increase.
Pricing per sqm is difficult if you don't know what each area is like.
until you know the frequency you can't put a sensible price on it

first question has to be how have you got this grass to cut without putting a tender in?
    • Tender has been put in and accepted.

      • Don't you have to put a price when your put the tender in?
        • Did't want to make it too complicated.

Just was interested in what other people would charge for a total area cut psm

          • I appreciate there are a lot of factors in this

So why did you not just ask that?
