Contract Commercial property for grass cut

Hi all and Happy New Year. This year will be my first year doing a full time Garden Service. i done it last year part time and had a great response in my area( west of Glasgow ) so taking the plunge and going to do it full time as i really enjoyed myself. I had 1 commercial property last year being a pub and had no contract with them just turned u ever 2 weeks and they paid there and then and they didn't want a recipe or invoice so was happy with that. I have now agreed on another commercial property which is currently with my employer. we have agreed on a price and also cut every 3 weeks but they want to be invoiced which i'm happy to do but would it be a good idea to also write a contract for them for the entire 2017 calender so we both no where we stand or do you think they would write a contract instead being a big business? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi. Yes.

They might have a contract they use but I would always work to your terms. Ask if you can see the previous contract if you think they will let you have a copy.

Make it work for you & good luck.
