Yep. Boy can it grow, I took one out this year that was putting on 10 metres in a season!
Lol, life isn't always so simple!
For what it's worth this is a plant I hate. It grows like mad, the client asks you to cut it back, it then doesn't flower, but grows again.
The one I took out has been replaced with a clematis Montana as a slower-growing alternatve. Says it all!
