Everyone spoke of having a good show. Adam Frost was upset with his Silver which I can't understand either. He deserved a better medal. Mark Gregory was delighted with his Gold. I had tea with Cleve West.Such a nice guy and we discussed the show. Lisa on Quecus was getting so much business and was very happy.
As for vertical walls as previously mentioned they are very popular and so was Angelica. It was everywhere. Low key planting ,no loud colours, still lots of green and paving.As always the small gardens are very popular and more in keeping with the public view of real gardens.

The gardens were greener, more structured and more subdued in many respects.
I think also, some of the gardens reflected an underlying theme of lower maintenance!
