Have you tried a loop-handle......... no harness needed and it fits in a van so much more easily. I suppose you could always wear high-heels:)
Brushcutter harness?
Maybe, maybe not!

Think the Sthil over the shoulder light weight strimmer 'strap' adjusts very well -- can be used on all strimmers but obv doesnt give the full support of the heavy duty harness
I am also Hobbit like at 5 foot 5 and a 1/2 and the harness that came with my Stihl FS56r is adjustable enough once you slide the shoulder pad around far enough.
Although I have to unclip it from the strimmer to get it on and off.
Don't forget that the harness clip is also adjustable to get the right balance point.
A decent Stihl or Husky pro harness has tons of adjustment. Two of my guys are short (around 5' 4") and they love the Stihl Advance harness. I put extra chest straps on for them too,
If you're in the market for a new pro strimmer, Stihl do the FS4XX range with shorter shafts, eg, FS460K, although we've always managed with regular lengths.
Thanks.. the heels are working well!!
Also Ordered a stihl harness.. thanks for the recommendation
