Camon rotovator

I am looking to buy a secondhand Camon Rotovator and so far have only seen complete abused rubbish.
We would go for new but this is a machine we wouldn't get full usage out of. My idea to get a secondhand one is due to having a couple of weeks of jobs for one at the moment. Useually we hire but as I have included hire costs in the prices I thought buying one would make sense.
Can anyone advise on problem areas to look out for and also is the Camon one a good idea?
thanks

Hi Matt, where are you based? We have just bought a new Camon Tiller and we also have a variety of other rotovators which may suit your needs. If you would be interested in a hire, then we supply throughout south east UK so give us a call on 01273 494939. Thanks

  • Thanks Arcadia,
Forgot to say I am in Leeds, thanks anyway

  • I've used camon before when I used to hire them and I found them to be ok, but useless if they've had the reverse gear removed. If I can I will always buy kit as its less hassle and more cost effective in the long run. I recently bought a Viking rotovator and have been very pleased with it. Much lighter and easier to use, but very good results with a very wide blade set

I have found the C8 to be too cumbersome except for use on large open areas. I much prefer to use my merry tiller even though it has no drive wheels. Maybe consider a Camon 2000 tiller?
