BTME usually has plenty of suppliers for the lawn care industry from larger conerns such as Headland, Everris, Rigby Taylor down to smaller specialists in compost tea, weed controls, seeds etc. There are some machinery players, but limited as it's mainly larger golf kit. I find Saltex better for machinery.
I've been for the last 3 years and have good chats with the suppliers and learn something new. Also, if you're a new "player" they will want to get you on the hook to supply you, so a great time to compare prices and check willingness to support you with good pricing as you grow - haggle hard and be a knowledge sponge.
Usually stay a night and we go as a team for a bit of "bonding" over some beers.
We go every year to meet with new and old customers. It's not geared for lawn care to be honest (more for Greenkeepers) but many of the suppliers there will be of some relevance to you.
Lawn care needs it's own trade show. It might happen... one day.
Thanks Daisy and Andrew. I need more info on the lawn care side of things so will probably end up going, just to get a taste of what is out there.
As you said Daisy, not geared for lawn care, but the information gained will do me no harm.
Thanks for your replys
