The quickest way to point setts is to use a sweep in mortar product. There is a bewildering array of these types of products on the market but to break it down simply they come in two different types. 1 part or 2 part.
The most popular 1 part products are 365 weatherpoint, romex or easijoint
The best 2 part product is called GFTK.
The 2 part products are more expensive but do tend to last longer than the 1 part products
Be sure to follow the installation instructions to the letter to avoid residue on the stone surface
