  • I have the husky ones. Quite comfy, seem to last well.
  • I wear my head phones continually when working so they get a lot of use. The experiance over the past few years as follows.
    2 sets of Peltor, rubbish as the on/off volume pot failed on both.
    Husky, nice, like the set up but there was a problem after about 6 months, so not good.
    After further research I purchase a set of Hellberg on line from F R Jones. Very good reception, good sound quality and after a full season they look and perform as good as new. Bright yellow so easy to spot if put down.

    The headline - Listen to music while you work ........and die! - might be a bit dramatic but not the message behind it.

    It's worth seriously considering the safety aspect of wearing radio ear defenders whilst operating machinery or working near highways.

  • The nice things about the husky is that there are four volume settings. I only really use it on level 3 so you still hear engine notes well.
