Anyone use F Books groups.

Hi all,

Before you say, I'm not trying to put anyone off using this platform its one of the best I've come across on the internet.....However. I do use other platforms for knowledge

Is anyone a member of the Facebook group Landscaper, lawn & Arb Professionals UK. I've seen a few name come up that are familiar on here.

Thanks

Andrew

Ps I have tried to bump up the membership for this site, via that group....

    Hi Andrew,

I'm on 3 or 4 Facebook business pages as you know. Everything has it's place.

LLA page is very busy, plenty of interesting content, mainly landscape based but it's good to pick up ideas from differing trades - one of my guys does some soft landscaping for us so it's good to stay in the loop, learn from the horror stories of others etc!

In one page which my guys are on too, so what I might post on there could be a little different to elsewhere. It's almost as if I'd rather come across as more assertive and answer queries / get involved in good discussion for that reason - maybe ask more and sound more unsure elsewhere!

Big fan of the BOG group here and I'm sure I'll get stuck into even more old threads over winter. That sits at one end of the spectrum for me and the page with my guys at the other, more lighthearted.

Facebook for customers is a different kettle of fish. Recently thrown my toys out of the pram with Facebook pages that people post on. My not so old website is really producing quaility leads with me boxing smart with my own SEO in recent months, and the gap in quaility leads / FB muppets feels like it has widened a great deal! Those that contact us after a FB ad, or contact us through the page are ok, but the conversion rate / hold rate is lower than the website.
