Anyone had one of those weeks?

It actually started over two weeks ago now so is getting hilarious now!Monday morning, all ready to go when a text message comes in, school closed!, marvellous.Never mind, it'll only be a day, I'll catch up.Tuesday it re opens so all is good, wednesday morning arrives, school closed again (burst water mains)!, brilliant, wife's already gone to work do never mind, kids come with me on a couple of little jobs where they know the customers.All this time I've got a niggle toothache, Saturday comes, I go out to catch up but am in agony all day and can't really focus but get the job done.Woke up Monday with a swollen face, white as a sheet and pouring with sweat, great, an abscess.Get an emergency appointment and get antibiotics which make me feel worse so book in to get the tooth out.Job done and back out Wednesday dodging the appalling weather and water logged ground.Got a plan to get round everything and catch up the best you can when the weather's against you but the youngest gets up this morning with a wheezy chest and cough!Poor thing never gets ill either and his birthday is on Saturday.Hey how, it's all fun!

  Much better as the grass is slow so easier to catch up, would have been awful if this happened a few months back!

There are four of us, just getting over a fortnight where one of us had a couple of days sick, another had a week off after his partner needed an emergency operation and in the same week another had a week off for a family bereavement, meanwhile I am taking up the slack, but I have a sinus infection and am on antibiotics. The joys of running your own small business!
