Any advice on K rend please

Just coming to the end of a rip out/makeover and have used K rend on some of the garden walls which looked great when first put on but since has picked up some stains during planting. This is proving very difficult to clean up,so far have tried jet wash and scrubbing with soap powder but stains just smudge.Have picked up some brick/patio cleaner but reluctant to use in case it causes more damage.

  • Hi ,
Ring the company rep and they usual know a great deal about the bad sides of there product , Regards S. Murphy Lavender Landscapes
  • Surprised to hear this as K Rend is a silicone based product that is laid on in two tacks on the same day, dependant on the size of the panel, the K rend lay on is excessive of the beads and left over night to go off, next day the render is rubbed with a spike float to the desired finish and levels..... leaving a durable minimal maintenance sparkling render available in an array of colours.....

Couldn't tell you what could happen if you applied brick/patio cleaner

    Good luck

  • Hello

Could anyone tell me the specified thickness of K Rend?

  • Steve, if you go on the Plasterers Forum and type in K rend you'll find all the info you need
